How to find us...

BY CAR… Sadly the museum does not have its own car park but parking is easily located around the museum with much on street parking and many car parks within walking distance with the closest located directly across from the museum Workhouse Lane next to Sheffield Law Courts. When travelling by car please follow the brown road signs for 'Cathedral Quarter' and you will pass the roundabout where the museum is located. Click here for our parking guide…

Using a SatNav? Please take extra care as the road layouts around the museum have changed over the past few years and are still changing from time to time.

BY TRAIN… Any Train directly to Sheffield Station will take you within a 15 - 20 min walk to the museum or across from the train station you will find the main Bus Station. Please click here for a map.

BY BUS… From the Sheffield Bus Station take route number 57 (please check before travelling).

BY TRAM… The nearest tram stop to the museum is 'Sheffield Cathedral'. This will take you about 5min walk from the museum following the signs for 'Law Courts'.
